Wednesday night at Northside Youth is a combination of hangout time, worship, games (lots of games!), a mini-sermon or lesson, and small groups. Snacks will be provided. 6th-12th grade students will all get to experience Wednesday nights together in community, and will break into junior high and high school age groups for small group discussion sessions.
The last Wednesday of every month is Gather Night. This will be the the night of the month where the Youth Group gathers around a table and enjoys a full meal together. A lesson and games will still be included in these nights, but the focus is on eating together and being in community. Gather night is a great night for students to bring their friends along to hang out and see what Northside Youth is all about!
Northside Youth has an Instagram and Facebook Page. These are great things to follow if you want to stay up to date with what Northside Youth is doing and how God is moving! The Facebook page is a private page for parents so that we can put more detailed information out about our upcoming events – if you are a parent/guardian who would like to be added to this page just let us know!
We take our Northside Youth students to West Central Christian Service camp every summer. This is an optional youth opportunity that we believe enriches the students lives so much! Specific dates for the junior high and high school weeks of camp release every March, and we will put more information out about these around that time!
Our high school students also have the option to attend the Christ in Youth (CIY) conference every summer. This is a National Conference with many locations that shares the gospel message to students and encourages them to be “kingdom workers” throughout their everyday lives with the kingdom of heaven in mind. The location and dates of CIY that Northside attends will change every summer, and this information will be released once we know it. Fundraising opportunities for students wanting to attend these events will be available throughout the year.
