I am a graduate of Manhattan Christian College and Kansas State University. As a preacher’s kid, I’ve been in ministry my entire life. I enjoy all sports, except soccer – I just don’t get it. I believe that spiritual growth happens best in community and I get pumped when I see believers doing life together!
Al Schuweiler
Youth Pastor
Al has served in various youth ministry roles over the last 25 years, both vocationally and as a volunteer. He is a middle school counselor full time while leading our Middle School and High School Youth Group. Al has one giant character flaw, and that is he is a die hard Minnesota Twins fan. Al and his wife Erin are a wonderful part of our congregation.
Jeremy Walterman
Worship Pastor
Jeremy is also a Middle School teacher and coach full time while leading our worship team here. He has been very active leading worship in various camps and has a heart for teens. He has a twin brother who will remain nameless dare we mess it up! Jeremy and Morgan have been eager to invest in the families of Northside. He has an irrational fear of birds, just ask him about it.
Brittney Lohman & Mallary White
Northside Kids Co-Directors
Brittney is married to her husband Joe, and has three daughters: Ezra, Esther, and Naomi. She graduated with a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and an emphasis in Early Childhood Education. She enjoys reading and watching anime. “My favorite part about Northside is the people. How we support one another and care for others.”
Mallary is married to her husband Kyle, and has three daughters. She graduated with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master’s in Family Studies. She enjoys quiet activities at home and spending time watching her kids do their sports and activities; but doesn’t have many specific hobbies… unless napping counts. “What I love most about Northside is that we look outside of ourselves to extend hope to our community.”
Libby Brewer
Communications Director
Libby has been a part of Northside for over 10 years. She and her husband, Straud, have been married for over 25 years and are the proud parents of 3 beautiful children. Libby loves all things creative, from wood working to photography and design. She has been a big part of updating the church, inside and out, for the last several years.
